More Lunch Notes
Yes, I have more lunch notes to post. You know, doing this has forced me to start being creative about what I write on the notes, as well as what I draw. I think the kids, most especially the Impossible Son, are relieved. Didn't realize how robotic I was getting about his message, in particular, until I started scanning them in for posting! Poor little guy! All I can claim in my defense is not having enough caffeine in my brain when I'm writing them!

Yes, Totoro is sort of an on-going theme for us, isn't he? I'm beginning to find the Totoros to be some of the easiest characters for me to sketch, especially when I'm almost out of time!

This one I had a little more time for. I actually was able to bring up end credits for one of the Shippuden seasons on Veoh, and sketched madly until I got this. The Impossible Son said he had a hard time holding on to this one!

Jin, from "Samurai Champloo" and he's wearing a Santa hat, but I ran out of room. And I used a source, but I'm sketching on scraps of two inch by two inch paper, so I'm sketching, not tracing, just in case you were wondering.

What? You've never heard of the Christmas Penguin? Seriously?

I'm sure y'all have no problem telling who this note is for, not with the usual "stay focused!" being chirped at yet again. *sigh*

This note was extremely popular at Mr. Impossible's school. In fact, he almost didn't get it back, as attested to by the part that's torn off!

Naruto and Sasuke cheering the Impossible Son on when he took his pre-TAKS test. And he scored a 98! YAY!!
*keeps fingers crossed that he does just as well on the real TAKS test*

Aang makes his pitch to help the Impossible Son remember to eat his lunch, not talk until lunch is over!

The Husbandly One was vastly amused when he got this note in his lunch!

Well said, Porco... well said.

The Impossible Son said this one got a lot of snickers and giggles. And he wants it back after I'm done scanning it. *chuckles*

This is an example of how Auntie loses track of time. I was actually going to draw a tiny village after adding tree details in the smudge in the bottom right corner when the Husbandly One came up and said, "Auntie, how long are you going to be, because if I don't leave now, I'll be late!" So, it got shoved in THO's lunchbox along with the napkin, he got his kiss goodbye, and I had to hurry up and finish the kids lunches after that!

It's a big rock rather than the tree branch I had planned (again, I ran out of time), but I still like this one. Totoros and their ocarinas... who knew?
Well, I hope you have enjoyed the latest installment of Lunch Notes from Auntie! Until next time, be good, and if you can't be good, be utterly fabulous and leave them slightly disheveled with big, goofy grins on their faces! Ta ta!
