Looky!! Looky!!
Look at the Husbandly One's new tattoos!!
His first tattoo had faded badly (the tattooist had too light of a hand) and he has disappeared into the bright blue yonder, so... we went to the place where the Impertinent Daughter had her ears pierced, originally to have his tat touched up. However... we ended up decided to get a NEW version of the portrait tattoo, somewhat larger and on THO's back, and get a coverup tattoo over the original portrait.
He had the portrait done last week, and I had to wait for it to heal a bit before taking a shot of it. It's still a teeny bit red, and still has some flaky skin, but I couldn't wait any longer, so here it is...

And here's his second tattoo, which I designed for him! It's a Totoro, from Miyazaki's "My Neighbor Totoro."

I think he did a really good job, though I was leetle disappointed that he didn't use my shading in the top Totoro is standing on. Oh well, c'est la vie. Maybe when THO goes for the touch up in a couple of weeks. We shall see!
HERE is a link to the design I posted for THO's tattoo over on my DeviantArt. Yeah, I know, that account's pretty empty, but I'm trying to sketch more, really I am! One of the places I was going to hang out to do some sketching after the kids started school (because it had such a prime view of the town square) CLOSED, so now, no place to pick up a really tasty ice tea when I'm running errands, or breakfast on the square after dropping off the kids so I can people-watch... *sigh*
No, don't panic, Chan. The Sunshine Cafe is still there and going strong. I'm talking about Java Motion. *sigh*
*mourns for their ice tea* It was really good!
Well, enough rambling, time for me to get up and at 'em. If I expect some uninterrupted writing time this afternoon, I have to get busy now! Later, my dears!
Love,
Auntie
