SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday, February 17th, 2008 10:28 pmWatch out! Cover y'all's ears!!! OMG!!!
The Husbandly One GOT ME A NEW LAPTOP!!!
Dance of joy, dance of joy!!
We were talking about the old laptop, which THO bought TEN YEARS AGO! And he said, "Do you realize that thing is almost eleven years old?"
I said, "It's older than that. It was a reconditioned one that Toshiba was offering to the employees of your company. It was already five years old then!"
He blinked. "Fifteen years old, then."
It is seriously beat up, and I am going to have a hard time figuring out how to get my Word files off of it. The floppy drive is refusing to accept discs, there is NO USB port (yes, it is THAT OLD!)... I may have to do it all by hand! But still... I GOT A NEW LAPTOP!!! YAAAAAY!!!!
He got it in preparation for our trip to Washington, since he knows I will probably go through severe withdrawals if I can't at least peek at my journals during that time. Plus, we can watch movies on it, so we're also looking at it as entertainment for the Impossible Son during the inevitable slow times.
He got it, too, to encourage my writing so I can go wherever I want and... SQUEEEEEEE!!!
(no, I'm not excited at all!)
Okay, I'll post more when I'm more coherent and less excited and bouncy. I do, I do, I DO love that man of mine!! WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
