Look Out! Artist in Residence!

So, after taking a year off, the Impertinent Daughter is now an art major at Texas State University (not to be confused with the University of Texas). And, as happens when one is in art school, she is progressing by leaps and bounds!

Now, for her university studies course, she's been asked to interview/follow around someone who actually works in her chosen major, with the idea of getting a realistic picture of what she can expect, and that's where y'all come in. I know there are more than a few of you who actually work as illustrators or professional artists in real life.
