And if you're going to allow all of them to do it, you're going to have to be prepared for the violence that erupts from the various religious people who are offended by other groups being given the same privilege they got themselves, and from the poor non-religious folks who just want to be LEFT ALONE.
I never had a problem with students gathering before the bell to pray together; or having a 5-minute "meditation" moment before class in the schools I went to (you could pray if you wanted to, but they didn't say pray, they said meditate/moment of contemplation, or similar, so it was ok with me). But I did get tired of constantly having little inspirational prayers at assemblies or PTA gatherings and so on.
