A pretty fine place to start...

I talked to the Blonde Sister last night. Big Brother is home again, has been put on a bland diet and told to quit smoking, since he's at risk for esophageal cancer, and he's apparently got a huge, bleeding ulcer in his stomach that has clotted over for now. He's got more tests to go through, but for now... he's okay.
Apparently he's been feeling crappy for about a week, but being a Big Macho Mexican Who Must Be Strong, aka BMMWMBS, he didn't say anything, just telling his wife and kids, "Oh, it must be something I ate," or "It's nothing, I guess I just got hot or something."
Who thinks I should to to Houston just to smack him upside the head? Raise your hands!
When the Blonde Sister asked him if he wanted to talk to me last night, I heard him saying frantically, "Oh, no, no, I... tell her I'm in the bathroom!!!" And you could hear rapidly retreating footsteps in the background.
His wife and two daughters burst out laughing, and my sister said, "Gee, Auntie, apparently all I have to do to get him to behave is threaten to call you!"
Hey, whatever works! I'm little, but I'm SCARY!!
Anyhow, he's conditionally better, so thank you to all of you who commented with your support. Hmmmm... I wonder if she needs me to call him and remind him to drink his soy milk?
*bursts into merry laughter*
