How does your garden grow?

It is spring here in Central Texas, and things are blooming. For the first time since we moved here two years ago, the jasmine on the front porch is blooming...

And as I took pictures of the jasmine, I discovered evidence of squatters...

Then today, when I was pruning back a rose that I didn't even know we had, I found another guest in the garden...

And then I found more in the mailbox...

Fortunately, the mailbox is no longer in service. Tomorrow, when I take the inevitable eggshells out to the compost pile, I will take the camera with me, because that's where the Texas Spiny Lizards like to hang out over the winter. Hopefully, I can get some good shots of our resident mini-dinosaurs for y'all, so you can see exactly why I get so peturbed when they jump on me, or show up in my house. YIKES!!
Happy Easter, to those of my f-listers that celebrate it, Happy Spring, and Eostara to my circle and family!
Love,
Auntie!
