And you know, my dears, with the types of things Auntie writes, the idea of taking it to the Apple store for work is... terrifying!!

Try speaking to Apple first and get advice you can tinker with yourself, without having to let them see it?

I think it's just a software problem now, because running Disk Repair and doing the "fbsk" thing both say the hard drive is okay. I'll have to wait to talk to Apple until tomorrow, though. and yes, I want my iMac to LIIIIIVE!!!!
