auntbijouYou know, I completely forgot to mention this, but reading emiime's entry reminded me...
Because of the cold weather that blew in today, the Husbandly One and I decided to go shoes and coat shopping for the kids last night, while it was still warm, and dry-ish. We drove into San Marcos and hit the shoe store, got the kids fitted up, and oh, wasn't THAT funny. The Husbandly One confronted the reality of having a daughter. "Four pairs of shoes?" he protested. "Why does she need FOUR pairs of shoes?? Won't two do?"
I said, "This is only the beginning, honey. She needs a couple more."
Oh, the poor man looked so shell-shocked (and I just KNOWvicki_sine is laughing her ass off right now). And that's not including CLOTHES, because, of course, she just had another growth spurt and NOTHING FITS!!
Anyhow, after the shoes shopping, we went to this fast-food Italian place called "Fazoli's" and ate. And it was while we were eating that I looked up at a table that was down the wall from us and saw... now, brace yourselfemiime, dear, and put down anything you're drinking, we don't want you frying the keyboard. Okay, ready? I looked up, and sitting at a table just down the row from us was...
Percy Weasley.
Draco Malfoy.
And Hermione Granger.
Really, I swear it! Oh, it just KILLED me that I had taken the camera out of my purse because I needed to replace the batteries and we didn't have any of the right size. Fraggitall! The Impertinent Daughter saw my mischief filled eyes and turned around to see what I was looking at and squealed, "Oh! It's Percy! He's a PERFECT Percy Weasley!!"
That's what we get for eating in a college town!
And don't you know, the Draco clone turned and shot us the perfect sneer for us lowly Muggles making such a fuss!! Hahahahaahahaha!!
It's a small town. Maybe I'll run into them again. And I'll have my camera ready!
