The Big Yahoody!
Thursday, May 11th, 2006 10:32 pmOh my! We have been in our new house for... let's see...this will be our fourth night, and oh!!! So excited!! I'm just... over the moon! It's so...okay, take it as read that Auntie, though somewhat calmer, is as happy as a cricket! Chirp, chirp, chirp! We're ALL happy!
I've been somewhat incommunicado over the last week and a half, because our phone service was shut off before I expected, and therefore, no internet. Yes, my dearies, Auntie was on dialup, because we lived out in the sticks (or styx, depending how you feel about it), and you know (Auntie assumes an exaggerated Southern drawl) there ain't no need fer country folks to have no internet, y'know. They're such simple folk, dial-up's just fine and dandy! (snort) Puh-leeeze! And dearies, it was so bad, Auntie sometimes had to be happy with only 28.8 kps. But you know what? The Husbandly One got Auntie DSL!! Whooooo-hooooo!! My head is literally spinning! I don't know what to do with myself, and thanks to Kungfooqueen, I am now hopelessly addicted to Ouran Host Club. And so are the kids. (sigh) In fact, we started dancing to the theme song, and my crunchy knee went *crack* and I'm sitting here with an ice pack and it's all her fault!! Not really. I never pass up a chance to be silly with my kids. Maybe I'll have an excuse to sit and ease off the unpacking and do some writing... when I'm not watching Ouran. Thanks, kungfoo, honey!!
And to the folks at Lameos Maximus, I am working hard on my fic. Really. When I'm not watching Ouran... hmmmm... wonder if I can find that other episode I was reading about and... er... you know... I think I hear the Husbandly One calling me... bye, y'all!
